I had paid Rs.240 for a proof of address card with the Triplicane post office on 20-Feb-2009. But so far I have no yet got my address card. With respect to my application for Proof Of Address card I request you to give me the following information.
What is the procedure for sanctioning a proof of address card? Please give me the detailed procedure including which officer has which responsibility and within what time should the action be done by each of those individual officers.
At what stage of this procedure is my application today?
Please give me the daily progress of my application including the names and designations of the officers who took action along with the date on which such action was taken.
What is the reason for this almost 5 months delay in the issue of my proof of address card, when in an inteview of a Post Office Official on Sun News channel, about this card said that the application for this card will be disposed within 1 month of application?
Please mention the names and designations of the officers who were responsible for the delay in the issue of my proof of address card.
When will I get my proof of address card?
As application fee, I am enclosing a postal order worth Rs.10 along with this application. Request you to give me the information within the time limits specified under the Right to Information act, 2005.
